Our villa host, Wisham, was amazing and could do enough for us. He got us an upgrade to a water villa after a mess up with our room booking (via travel agent, not Emerald) and the room was SO amazing! He responded to any request instantly, was so friendly and helpful Fantastic guy, made out stay very smooth. The food was fantastic, we were a bit disappointed there wasn't indoor seating areas in all the restaurants as my partner was melting at night without aircon, but they did put us in the small aircon area in Aqua every morning for breakfast. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, they remembered us and our preferences, they all go above and beyond, nothing is too much trouble. Nash the somelier was fantastic too. My partner had to see the doctor for an ear infection and that was such an easy, efficient process and complimentary too, which was fantastic. Can't fault anything about our stay!! Very family friendly. Amazing place, we'd love to go back one day. Weather was mixed, first 4 days beautiful sunshine, then 3 days of cloud and some rain, to be expected in the rainy season! This is our second time in Maldives , a family vacation accompanied by our friends family, we’ve been greeted with very warm welcome from the moment we arrived ,our arrival was handled very efficiently by the staff member from the airport pick up to the seaplane transfer , we stayed in the over water villa with a amazing view of the crystal clear turquoise sea , the room itself was very spacious and the view from the bathroom is to die for , our butler Kumar was very efficient in organizing our everyday activities according to our requirements, we were given our own bikes to freely roam around the resort , our kids who are 11 years old loved every moment of exploring the island on their own ,they loved the kids activity club , it was very safe and the staff members are friendly and attentive . We had an amazing culinary experience from the resorts four restaurants, special thanks to Mr Iruthayaraj who made sure we enjoyed the experience,Head chef Mr Ravi ,chef Jahir and Chef Aldo are very passionate about making our every meal a truly special one , especially the three dishes they created from our fishing trip was top notch , the selection of wine and beverages are excellent, the sommeliers were very knowledgeable and good with their suggestions , the cocktails from the Bar near the pool area are excellent The service in the restaurants are very attentive and friendly especially Giri , Nithin , who genuinely made sure we enjoyed every meal Our scuba diving experience was outstanding we booked it again the following day , thanks to Andrea who made our kids very comfortable with their first experience of scuba diving a memorable one, also the whole team Hassan , Catrine , Mosa were very knowledgeable and made sure we enjoyed our activities Akhil from front office ensured all our needs are looked after Over all Emerald is a beautiful piece of heaven on earth, the staff are amazing with genuine care for the guests, which made our stay a truly wonderful one .
