The deluxe beach villa was clean, modern with beautiful ocean view. The food menus were delicious and changed every day. Fruits were so fresh and tasty… The transportation arrangements were managed perfectly. Thank you Mr. Ali for your very kind assistance. We were welcomed by a small group of drummers and clappers which set the tome for our time here. We were soon checked in by Ishara and she showed us around the resort. Its only 900 yards by 200 yards. We had a beach villa. It had its own little beach area. It was very comfortable. The guy who kept it clean for us was lovely and did a great job. We enjoyed a couple of visits to the spa. Very tranquil and a good massage. I did go for a couple of swims and it was like being in a Finding Nemo scene. Quite Amazing The food offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner where quite incredible. The chefs are brilliant and happy to explain everything i did like that my omelette was made to my liking without even asking afyer two days! Now, we had a bit of a personal problem and I spoke to Pradeep, the food and beverage manager. Within minutes he had an answer for me. I thank him for his professional outlook and understanding. It took away my concerns and i could relax. The highlight of our stay was Helens bar. I felt at home there. The staff there made us feel so welcome. Always smiling and working so well together. Lahiru, was the bar" boss". He was so good at his job. He was calm but authoritative. I was impressed with his professional manner and he seemed to know what every guest needed before they did. Asanka the bar supervisor, working tirelessly to look after the guests daily. Then tending the bar and keeping us all refreshed, the smiling faces of Amith ,Lasith ,Amith ,Rajat ,Ando, Zhanna and Uba. It was a joy to be in this place. It really was. Always laughing, serving and creating memories. My drinks were ready before i even got to the bar. I remember fondly, one of the staff had gone the extra yard for me and i asked why. It was Amith who said " you are our family now" The staff here patrolled around making sure guests were stocked up. Fresh drinks and cleared tables as soon as they noticed. What a great team. ! They looked after us so well. I would love to return and enjoy " one for the road " a few more times with my Helengeli friends. Read Less

We were able to do online check-in during our trip. Upon arrival we were met by a very nice receptionist, Ishara, who showed us around the resort and showed us everything. We stayed in a Luxury villa which was very tastefully furnished including bathrobe, flops, floaty vests, safe, minibar (soft+beer), absolutely fabulous outdoor bathroom with toiletries. Only 15m from the door to the sea. Cleaning and replenishment of minibar and water was done every day. But absolutely amazing was the local cuisine! Absolutely delicious dishes!!! Daily amazing combination of Indian Ocean cuisine, there was no shortage of fine European dishes, an amazing breakfast buffet and great salads and delicious desserts. I had the opportunity to learn the secrets of spices in Maldivian cuisine with Chef Nimal who was very accommodating and professional👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you! The ocean is beautiful, the colors are unbeatable in person. The staff at the resort are very nice, the people are calm, friendly, smiling, helpful and make you feel really welcome and that you are on a holiday you deserve. If I have the opportunity to visit this place again I will be very happy. Just pack one small suitcase, sunglasses and a UV shirt because everything else important you can get there (water equipment rental). What makes this hotel very special to us is the way the whole team works together and go above and beyond to make you’re time in the Maldives the most special time that you could possibly have. Hotel restaurant served great cusine daily with great solution of curries (vegetable and meat version). But the top of all is the "own" coral reef where you can dive to observe plentifull technicolor varies of fishes. Read Less
