They were Cleaned twice a day. The outside shower was actually lovely once I got used to it being outside. The pool bar staff were amazing. We were a family of 16th they would find beds for us if we needed them too. As we were in the water or sea most of the time we usually shared beds between us although we never really struggled to find any (thanks to shamim). The bar staff were lovely and friendly. They provided an excellent service. Sorry we forgot to take your names. Top marks to all of you. Our favourite restaurant was dhiyavaru (24 hr over the water). As we were on the dine around package this was included for us. The food was amazing and the service was absolutely fabulous. A special mention to mannu our waiter. He really is so efficient, polite and gave a top class service. But all the staff in there real lovely. They also set up a 16 seater table in the main buffet restaurant. Our waiters were great. The egg chef was spot on. He would my husband coming and already start cooking his eggs (the way he liked them). The harque bar staff were ok. Some of them didn't always understand our drink order and whilst trying to give a great service and bring your drinks over, took a while to do so. But need to say a special mention to Vivek for putting up with us. I found the reception staff pleasant but we had a few instances where they miss informed us. Although check in was fast and efficient. The reefi grill put on a fantastic table on the beach one night for my dads birthday. We had a lovely waiter called riyaz. The only issue I found was that you couldn't really see what u were eating which I personally didn't like. The water sports and dive staff were great. Banana boat was fabulous. Even had dolphins swimming around us in the water. Lastly a special mention to Asad (F&b manager) he really did go above and beyond. He even set up a football match between his staff and us on the beach. The kids and adults loved it. He really did make our stay a special one. Nothing was too much trouble and if there was anything we needed he would sort it if he could. It was my first time to the Maldives and I absolutely loved it. I would definitely return to this hotel. Beautiful island. Excellent service minded staff in all areas from checkin, cleaning, kitchen etc. Very happy with the water villa and everything that came with it. I can give my very best recommendation for Reethi Faru but i can also recommend three improvements. 1. You loose your all inclusive package at 12 am upon checkout. If you have a 4 pm flight it will be very expensive to eat. You should include the all inclusive package until seaplsne leaves. Small cost for you but a huge impact on guest experience on last day. 2. I recommend that one lunch or dinner at an al a carte resturant to be included in all inclusive package. 3. Pool is not up to standard with many holes. Please renovate it. Read Less

It's a 'footwear free' resort with everything on sand - reception, bars, a la cartes etc. The dive centre offers diving and watersports for those interested and there is light evening entertainment most evenings. No need to bring snorkeling gear (unless you prefer to), you can hire masks for between $6-10 per day. The vibe is very chilled and relaxed. Whilst not adult-only, there are no facilities for kids here, including no kids sections at the buffet etc. There were a few families dotted around the resort but we barely noticed. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly around the resort. Restaurants The food at Reethi Faru was incredible. We had a dine around package which included the a la cartes and they were definitely worth it. Diyhavaru is an over-water restaurant with an extensive menu for all times of the day. Reethi Grill was a beautiful on-beach setting where we watched the sun set. There is also a Cafe restaurant and a Vegan/Veggie restaurant but we did not dine here. The buffet was great, everything was cooked perfectly and there was a great variety each night of fish, meats, curries. You could even get fresh pasta cooked in front of you. Overall, the food at Reethi Faru Resort was outstanding, we could not fault any of it. Rooms We stayed in a Deluxe Beach Pool Villa for the first week, which was amazing. Right on the beach to dip into the clear waters, the pool to fall back on in the shade when needed. Very big room and outdoor area to relax in - we didn't need to go to the main pool or use the rest of the resort facilities, what we had was perfect. Oh, and the bar was three doors down which always helps, along with the unlimited in-room minibar! You get used to showering outside with the geckos, it was all part of the experience and we loved it. We didn't think anything would top this room and were nervous about moving rooms until we moved into a sunset water villa. Wow. The sunset is breathtaking. The room was spacious, a bath, shower and outdoor shower available and again the unlimited minibar meant we didn't need to venture out except for meals! Easy access to the sea via steps and stunning corals and sealife right by our villa where we could snorkel. All the rooms were spotless and cleaned twice a day. Other We opted to pay extra for a photoshoot with the resident photographer on the island. The photographer was very friendly and easily directed us into the best poses. We could only cope with a 30min session round the Island as it was so hot. The photos were the perfect keepsake for our honeymoon. We also went on the Dhani Sunset Cruise which took us round the islands - we didn't see the sunset as it was a little cloudy but it was all round a pleasant experience. Weather We were at Reethi Faru at the start of June for 2 weeks. We saw rain once for about 5 minutes one evening but otherwise had sunshine every single day. Occasionally we may have a cloudy day but they move along very quickly and sun always broke through. Temps were above 30c every day and there was a very welcome breeze. Transport A long trip from the UK consisting of 8hrs LGW- DOH and 5hrs DOH-MLE. The airline had originally changed our departing flight from 2pm to 9am which would have left us with an 8hr layover but luckily our agent spotted this and fought our cause to get us on another similar 2pm flight - one of many reasons to book with an independent travel agent! We opted for the seaplane transfer from Male to RFR - nothing will prepare you for how small this aircraft is but its totally worth the experience! A 45min flight to the island and the views are sensational. Pre flight, a rep found us at the airport and handled our check in - very smooth, easy and friendly! A short shuttle bus to the terminal and a 1 hr pleasant wait in the lounge watching the seaplanes take off before heading on our way. Read Less
