The beauty of the world renowned beaches cannot be overstated. The scenery and peaceful atmosphere truly create the feeling of paradise. However, there are several options for hotels in the Maldives. What makes the Westin special is the professional staff and personal service. From the moment you arrive via seaplane to your reluctant departure, the Westin’s team is welcoming and attentive. They go out of their way to make you and your Maldives stay truly special. As for the accommodations and food, all are first rate and worth the expense. If you want a once in a lifetime beach experience, or one to repeat as your favorite vacation spot, the Westin is where to go. Although all of the staff are excellent, the outstanding teams assembled and led by Hotel Manager Laurent Reynieix and Deepak Kumar, the Director of Food and Beverage, should be recognized for ensuring every detail was perfectly executed. I spent 5 days on the island. 3 days for ocean villa and 2 days for garden villa. The rooms are new and clean, quiet, I love the ocean one and suggest you can book more ocean villa if you come. We snorkel every day. There are many kinds fish, we see shark, manta, parrot fish under our room. The best time for snorkeling is morning and sunset time, there are so many fishes come. We go out to see turtles on self-pay. But one days is rainning and we can't go finishing. so if you have some self-pay item want to do, please do it soon when the weather is good, because the weather always change everyday. We took many nice picture by selfie stick, please must take one by you when you go. The food is delicious, people are kind, they care a lot of your feeling. They help you anytime if you need. I think they are great people because they give all the people nice memory who come to their island. I buy many souvenir on island and I will never tell you how smart I am! The drawing on wood is so nice and lovely, Nilusha is a great painter and so kind. The souvenir from Westin is much more cheaper and meaningful then those from Male airport. It's lucky that we buy many souvenir from Westin and buy little from airport, we save money.
