From start to finish, their level of care and excellence was impeccable. We were greeted right at the airport to their lounge to wait for the speedboat with a selection of beverages to enjoy before getting on the speedboat to the island. The speedboat had water and wifi for us, and the staff members on it were exceptionally attending and kind. We were welcomed to a very cute reception area with drums and welcome signs as well. The property was in excellent condition and constantly maintained. It seems that at all times on every day there is some form of cleaning, trimming, and upkeep going on to keep the property in top shape. There's some kind of incense burning throughout the property that gives a really nice fragrance and keeps you relaxed at all times. The entire layout is really nice and pretty and zen. Views are truly breathtaking as one would expect of Maldives. (Do note that two nearby islands are visible so it isn't open ocean all around you on all angles, though you will have open ocean views from the vast majority of the island). A true emerald water you would see in pictures! Breakfast buffet was the highlight for us with the diverse menu, selection of pastries, selection of coffee tea and beverages. We found out there are a team of 10 chefs preparing for the pastries at 2:30 in the morning everyday for the guests. Kotti, the server, attended to our every need with his great service and a friendly smile. All the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming to say the least. We made personal connections with a number of them. Nazeer took the time and effort to talk to us during a Sunset happy hour for all guests, and then invited us to yet another sunset happy hour with just him, to congratulate our anniversary. Ema at the front desk introduced herself to us and her love for Korean culture and passion for her work really showed. Dian our server on many meals was a delight with his sense of humor and recommendations. There are of course many others that made our stay special and made us feel welcome at all times. Their sincere kindness and over the top hospitality make you feel well taken care of and so special. There's no shortage of things to do. There's a tennis court with equipment you can borrow. There is a gym with equipments that meet all of your workout needs. There's a whole shop devoted to ocean activities and a separate shop devoted to scuba diving. I got my scuba diving open water certification during my stay (thank you Morgane for your instruction!), and it was such a wonderful experience. I saw sea turtles and manta rays and sharks, and of course thousands of fish of different color swimming around me. Snorkeling was also excellent. Spa and massage was an elevated experience, in a beautiful ocean cottage in a secluded island. Italian cooking class was very fun and informative. Really we had no dull moment during our week-long stay. You also can’t miss the Marine Discovery Area where they educate you on the diverse marine animals in Maldives and the importance of eco-friendly materials to help the animals. They also have a section where they provide shelter and care to turtles who are injured in the ocean. It’s truly amazing how Four Seasons is helping out the animals! The hospitality is excellent. We were welcomed with a bottle of Veuve in our room on checkin. Two separate pastries with happy anniversary message were delivered to us. Two small gifts were delivered to us as well, to congratulate our anniversary, as well as two handwritten notes from the staff. The food is delicious with enough variety to keep you satisfied throughout. Prices are what you would expect in a Four Seasons property plus a premium I assume for having them on a secluded island. Breakfast buffet, again, is a huge treat and highlight of our stay for sure. We went in the first half of September which is off season and so the property was especially private, with low occupancy. This off peak timing worked out for us but folks should know that there is a risk of rain and clouds which may be less desirable for some people. Everything just seems elevated and refined, elegant, luxurious. The cleaning staff would arrange our personal items down to each hair pin, to make things look orderly and nice. Incense burning outside and diffusers indoors to make everywhere smell nice. There are trees and flowers in the mid section of the island which are constantly being tended to. Departure was sad but they make it easy on us. We can preview the bill and ask questions about it if you are curious about any of the charges. They give us the exact time of baggage pickup and time to board the speedboat back to the airport. The airport staff takes your luggage all the way to the security checkpoint and navigates you through all the shortcuts. It was truly a very special time for us and everything was perfect. We would not only recommend this resort to everyone, but it’ll be the only resort we come back to when we revisit Maldives. Read Less

It's really kid-friendly, and i can always order food for the kids and have it delivered to the room (the fries here are delicious, by the way). The staff at the restaurant etc. are also very friendly, and my daughter really likes it here. On the return boat, we were lucky enough to see dolphins, and stopped the boat specifically to help us see them. When I arrived at the airport, another staff picked up my luggage and helped us check in for the flight. Overall, I was impressed by the quality of the four seasons during this trip.
