There were different kinds of cuisine to try out. Its a very exclusive resort and the best part is, its very peaceful. You’ll only hear the birds and the sound of the ocean. Our room was super nice. They made sure to clean it twice a day. Shana was super helpful with regards to making our schedule and answering our queries. The entire staff takes care of the smallest details. Huge compliments to the entire staff in the restaurant, the reception, the guys reflecting the household. Everyone is an incredibly friendly, professional & coordinated team. The atoll is beautiful, the resort is intimately, beautiful, the nature is unreal, it will remains in our beautiful memories and we look forward to returning. A small drawback is only the food and not so much choice, but that's acceptable after all, it's an island and they import food, so you can't expect a lot of choices. I have certain food allergies, the staff was incredibly attentive and always tried to prepare something special for me. Highly recommended and worth a visit. Read Less

After being greeted by our host, we arrived via buggy to our dolphin villa (401). What a stunning villa, with gorgeous views out onto the Indian Ocean. A slight hiccup with our bed decoration.... 'Happy Honeymoon'. Not sure what happened with this, as it was a vacation for my girlfriend's 60th birthday. We exchanged whatsapp number's with our host, and over the course of our stay, we were given various itineraries, restaurant reservations etc... There are several restaurants on the Island. Sands being the main buffet/a la carte restaurant, with various themed nights, Indian and Maldivian being my favourite. The Green Carpet was for lunch (weather permitting) and there's also La Pasta and Rising Sun. These last two are bookings only, which your hosts sorts out for you. H2O is something you need to experience. No YouTube video's can prepare you for that 'WOW' factor, when they open those curtains to your seating area, under the glass dome. The abundance of marine life is amazing. I had the meat option, which was amazing. There are also fish and vegetarian options. Again, your host will sort this out for you. The white sand and the crystal blue waters are picture postcard perfect, a bare foot, 15 minute stroll around the island after breakfast, was always a highlight of our day. But without a shadow of doubt, the staff at You & Me are simply superb. We were treated like royalty for the duration of our stay. I thank every one of you. As a result, we are in the process of booking our return trip in 2024. Same room again please :) A little suggestion though, those days where the weather is not so good (we had about 3-4 days of wet/windy weather), some sort of indoor entertainment would be good! Reached by sea plane from Male the flight is a great experience in itself and from the moment you reach the seaplane lounge you know you're in for a fabulous holiday. The main buffet restaurant (Sands) has different themed nights and the food is of such good quality as you would expect in The Maldives. Lunch (The Green Carpet) is served to you with many choices and great quality or Rising Sun. Dinner is at Sands or La Pasta (Italian) or The Rising Sun (Teppanyaki) albeit the latter is confined to 8 seats as it is sat around the cooking plate whilst the chef 'entertains' with his culinary tricks. The Island is small and intimate - you can walk around it in about 10 mins. It is an adults only venue with most of the accomodation being over water villas. We had a 'host' whom looked after our needs whilst on the island letting us know about different things going on/trips etc - all done via WhatsApp! I believe everyone has a 'host' but it does fell kind of special. There is diving here along with some watersports albeit, surprisingly, the non motorised watersports came at an extra cost. I finish off with the 'ultimate' restaurant - H2O. This restaurant is submerged several metres beneath the sea. It is located approx 100m or so off the island and is reached via a very short boat ride. It only holds 20 diners at a time and will cost approx $250 per head (without wine) but is well worth the cost to watch the large sharks that swim around whilst you eat - a truly amazing experience with truly amazing food and ambiance to boot.
