Qatar Airways has resumed flight operations to the Maldives on Thursday after a temporary suspension linked to the Middle East conflict.
The airline had halted services to several destinations, including the Maldives, following disruptions to regional air travel. Under the revised schedule, Qatar Airways will operate five weekly flights between Malé and Doha.
During the disruption period, transit options through Doha were limited, particularly for long-haul passengers. The resumption of services is expected to ease capacity constraints and provide more efficient and predictable travel options as operations gradually stabilise.
Passengers are advised to travel only with confirmed bookings, as schedules may remain subject to operational adjustments. The airline continues to monitor the situation closely and is working towards a full restoration of services, including the potential introduction of additional flights.
With the new schedule, Qatar Airways reflects the gradual increase in flights to and from Doha reaching more than 120 destinations by mid-May 2026 across Qatar Airways’ global network.
