The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands is set to welcome guests to the Moonlight and Golden Days Festival from 25 September to 10 October 2026, with a programme bringing together culinary experiences, island adventures, wellness and creative activities. Inspired by the echoes of autumn, the two-week celebration will unfold through golden sunsets, moonlit evenings and experiences designed for guests of all ages.
Culinary Experiences

The festival will open with three evenings of SUSHISAMBA dining from 25 to 27 September, bringing Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian influences to the island alongside salsa performances. Guests can also enjoy a Moon Festival Dinner at Summer Pavilion, a Mid-Autumn Festival Feast, Golden Horizons Dinner and dining experiences at La Locanda, Arabesque and IWAU Chef’s Table. The programme will conclude with a Starlight Concert Dinner featuring live music and cuisine beneath the stars.
Island and Marine Experiences

The festival programme will also take guests into the waters surrounding the resort through turtle and coral garden snorkelling, Shark Quest, Reef Life Discovery and a Sunset Dolphin Cruise. Guests can explore the lagoon through experiences including a Jet Ski Sandbank Escape, Seabob Fun Ride, e-foil lessons and a Luxury Sunset Cruise. A coral planting experience will also offer an opportunity to contribute to reef restoration while learning about ongoing conservation efforts around the island.
Wellness and Creative Moments

Wellness activities will feature throughout the festival, with sunrise yoga, restorative yoga, face yoga, self-massage sessions, tapping therapy and Spa Alchemist workshops among the experiences available. Guests can also take part in a range of creative workshops, including lantern making, painting, pottery, sculpting, sand art and island-inspired crafts.
Experiences for Young Guests

Ritz Kids will offer a programme of activities throughout the festival, including mooncake cookie decoration, lantern cards, moon glow painting, treasure hunts, beach gem stone hunting, ocean boat races and stargazing camps. Activities will combine creativity, discovery and island exploration, with selected experiences designed for children aged four to 12.
The Moonlight and Golden Days Festival will conclude on 10 October with a closing Starlight Concert Dinner, bringing together live music, cuisine and the final evening of the two-week celebration. Across the programme, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands will combine dining, wellness, creativity and island experiences under the themes of moonlit moments and golden days.
